IMPORTANT: This Privacy Policy applies to the Boke Eye Position Acquisition System mobile application on the Apple App Store (“App”) and explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your information when you use our services on an iOS device. By downloading or using the App you agree to the practices described below.
1. Introduction
We are committed to protecting your personal information. This Policy describes the types of data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
2. Information We Collect
A. Information You Provide
• Apple ID Credentials: name, email address, and Apple ID identifier received from “Sign in with Apple”.
• Profile Data: first and last name, age/date of birth, gender, avatar or photo (optional).
• Camera Images: photos of your eyes/face used solely on-device to verify that your face is at an appropriate distance and that your movements are accurate. Images will not be automatically saved to the album, unless you tap “Save to Photos”.
• Feedback & Support: any text, image, or voice you send to customer support.
B. Automatically Collected Information
• Device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV), hardware model, OS version, IP address, MAC address, country/region.
• Usage logs (feature clicks, use length, crash reports).
• In-app purchase receipts handled by Apple.
C. Permissions
• Camera – for taking photos; Notifications – reminders; Network – connectivity. You may revoke any permission in iOS Settings.
3. How We Use Information
• Create and manage your account.
• Generate an analysis report based on the captured photos.
• Display personal trends and history inside the App.
• Deliver customer support and respond to feedback.
• Fulfill in-app purchases via Apple’s In-App Purchase mechanism.
• Maintain security and prevent fraud.
• Comply with legal obligations.
4. Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

9. Your California / U.S. Privacy Rights
If you reside in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah or Virginia you may:
• Request to know, delete, or correct personal information.
• Opt-out of “targeted advertising” or “profiling” (we show no third-party ads).
• Limit use of Sensitive Personal Information .

10. Children Under 13
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently done so, please contact us for immediate deletion.
11. Camera Permission
When you use the camera feature, the App will request access to your device camera. The camera is used solely on-device to:
• detect the distance between your face and the screen;
• generate an instant report inside the App.
Processing & Storage:
• Photos are taken locally on your device; they are automatically uploaded to our servers only when you tap “Next” after shooting.;
Refusal & Revocation: If you decline camera permission, you will not be able to obtain the report, as this is a core feature. You can still browse historical records and settings.. You can revoke the permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera → Boke Eye Position Acquisition System.
Third-Party Access: The camera feed is never transmitted, shared, or sold to any third party, including analytics SDKs or advertisers.
12. Data Retention
• You can choose to delete the eye image after it has been processed on the device, unless you choose to save them to your Photos library.
• Account data is kept until you delete the App or request deletion.
• Analytics events are stored for 26 months then aggregated.
• Purchase records are retained for 7 years for tax purposes.
13. Security
We use industry-standard measures: TLS 1.3 encryption in transit, AES-256 at rest, least-privilege access, annual penetration tests. If a data breach occurs, we will notify you as required by law.
14. Cross-Border Data
Your data is processed in the United States. When we use support staff outside the U.S. we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the EU Commission. U.S. user data remains on U.S. servers.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be shown in-app or via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.
